I checked setupact.log and setuperr.log and they said the following: As described in the attached brochure, I ran the upgrade assistant first and then started the Vista upgrade.Ģ1% into the files expansion procedure the upgrade is aborted and the error msg says something like the windows boot configuration could not be updated (maybe the English error msg is a bit different in the wording, but I hope you understand which error I´m talking about). I finally received the upgrade kit from Dell for my Dimension 9200.
